Please note that while we will do everything we can to help with the successful realisation of your project, we cannot take responsibility for manufacturing or assembly issues for any design not managed by us. The information in this FAQ is the result of many years of accumulated experience within our section but is by no means exhaustive. Every project is different and you must adapt these guidelines accordingly.

Points of contact

  • If you have a question for one specific member of our section, please CC the relevant group address from the list below. This will ensure you get a reply even if they are out of office. If in doubt, use the Planning Office address and someone will redirect you to where you need to go.
  • If your email is about a project that is already in work, it is helpful if you can include a job number and EDA (if applicable) in the subject line for reference (eg. Fxxxxx/EDA-xxxxx-Vx-x).
  • For questions to the general CERN electronics community, please see the CERN Engineering forum or join the cern-electronics e-group (mailing list cern-electronics@cern.ch).
  • For delivery of goods or material to our planning office and workshop (internal or outsourced assemblies, repairs), please order internal transport to 107/1-A06.
